What an AI voice agent can and cannot do for an Indian business
Ten-plus languages, no hold queue, and a very clear line where a human still has to pick up. An honest scope of the technology.

An AI voice agent is very good at the first ninety seconds of a call: answering without a hold queue, identifying why someone called, capturing their details, and booking a slot on a calendar.
It handles code-mixed Hindi and English better than most people expect, and it never gets worse at 9pm. For missed-call recovery and after-hours enquiries, that alone changes the numbers.
What it should not do is negotiate, handle an angry customer, or make a commitment on price. Every agent we ship has an explicit handoff rule, and the handoff has to land somewhere a human is actually watching.
Treat it as the front desk, not the whole sales team, and it pays for itself quickly.
